This is one my favourites , easy to make any yummy all day round snacking. If you like to make your own pastry  up to you , however highly recommend to buy it and puff pastry works wonders as well for this recipe.

Spicy Samosas

  • Prep time: 30 minutes
  • Cook time: 20 minutes

This is one my favourites , easy to make any yummy all day round snacking.

Ingredients

  • 200 g Minced beef
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Curry powder
  • 1 tbsp Cumin, ground
  • 1 tbsp herb mix
  • 2 Potatoes, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • Ginger , chopped
  • tomato, paste/chopped

Method

  • 1)

    Melt some butter or add a tbsp of oil and fry your mince meat till tender

  • 2)

    Add the cumin, curry and herb mix for flavour with of-cause a pinch of salt. ( add chilli if desired)

  • 3)

    throw in the chopped onions, garlic and ginger and fry slightly till browned gently.

  • 4)

    add the potatoes and the tomato paste ( accompanied by a handful of water) and let simmer till semi dry and potatoes are cooked

  • 5)

    Prepare your pastry and add the minced meat into the pockets. Brush your pastry with egg and bake for 20 min at 180°C.

Notes

Instead of baking – fry them for that crispy effect.
